Is there a better Elvis-themed cash-only bar in Wicker Park? I think not.

This is far and above one of the best bars in Chicago. The bartenders are skilled, fast, and the highest quality people. The crowd is laid back and beautiful, with an eclectic mixture of folks of all walks of life playing pool, chatting with friends, or making out in the photo booth in the back. Speaking of photos, I would be remissed if I didn't mention the beautiful lighting that will brighten up anyone's avi or Instagram photoshoot. The scene is only the most superficial side of the bar, however. The bartenders are SKILLED. They often have specials with drinks designed by master mixologist Brandon who runs the bars many a weekend, and humble as he may look, can get you the exact drink you want and maybe something you didn't know you wanted. Tourists should order a Chicago Handshake, for an unforgettable welcome to the best city in the country. Stop in for a gin and tonic in a pint glass (splash of olive juice and twist of lemon for me as well).

When I think of an ideal dive bar this is the type of bar that I imagine. Free pool and darts, friendly people. I wish the prices were a little lower but that's my only complaint.

Neighborhood dive bar, cash only. The bartenders were pretty quick and attentive on a busy Saturday night. Lively atmosphere but not too crowded or wild
